AGAA offers a vacation programme for paid on-the-job work experience during your university vacation break (June-July), and we are interested in talented and ambitious penultimate to final year geology students.
This position is with our Greenfields Exploration team who are currently active in North Queensland.
All roles will be DIDO from Cairns, QLD with flights from your hometown included. Accommodation in the field may be based in various regional towns and or swag and tents in the bush as required. All equipment and costs will be covered.
Work you may be exposed to includes geological mapping, soil sampling, drilling and other exploration activities.

As part of your application, you are required to submit:
Rotating roster of duties surrounding logging, drill rigs and general geologist duties. Good variety in tasks.
Working on improvement projects for the processing plant/site. Calculations, drawings and planning for projects to be completed
Mining engineering for underground- all aspects
