Our Safety Programme:

Our Safety Graduate Programme is a two-year structured programme based on a tailored competency framework that matches your career interests and aligns with real work and business opportunities. As a graduate, you develop your technical capability whilst also developing as a leader through professional training.

The programme starts with operational familiarity, where you can explore a wide variety of roles found on-site and their safety considerations. Other areas you will get to explore include completing risk assessments, safety education, compliance and data management, safety advisory, inspections, investigations and procedures.

The Safety Graduate will gain exposure to both Sunrise Dam and Tropicana, which are in the north-eastern goldfields of Western Australia giving you the chance to support and contribute to a thriving local community. You will be working on a variable fly in-fly out roster of 8 days on, 5 days off, 4 days on, 4 days off with flights from Perth or Kalgoorlie.

All our Graduates are guaranteed a permanent position with AGAA upon successful completion of the programme.

About you: 

• On a path to complete or studying towards completing a tertiary qualification in the relevant discipline, due to graduate by the end of the year 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical and open minded with a creative and collaborative approach to problem solving
• A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
• Australian working rights
• A valid Australian manual driver's license
