They need more part time jobs for people of school aged children.

I think ANZ does a decent job here. But the 50% mandate actually counteracts this good will. I've asked how this mandate affects minorities, people of colour, mothers or caregivers of any kind. The mandate itself comes off as very gendered and from a male perspective. Some have classified it as sexist. The flexibility to work remotely has led to greater performance for a significant demographic. As well as how this affects lower socio-economic groups. I have asked but I don't think it has been considered how this affects the neglected minority groups who have to travel a long way to get to the city. As not everyone can afford to live in the heart of Melbourne. I have even asked if there has been any consideration of how this mandate may inadvertently affect the gender pay gap come each annual review, being the people that will not be able to comply with it will likely be women, mothers, and caregivers. With no response to this as well. Only if you don't like it leave.

I think ANZ does an excellent job at creating a diverse workplace. One example that comes to mind is parental leave which allows the father to take 5 months off (paid) to look after children at home.

Ethnic minorities are mostly in middle office or back-office roles, doing the routine admin work, maintenance and operations work of the white members of the company. On top of this, all senior management is white. It really emphasizes the old colonial ways of there being an ethnic hierarchy with white people being on top. As above, white women and LGBTQIA+ individuals are treated well but I cannot say the same about ethnic minority women or men.

I think ANZ does a great job. As always, more can be done. Withdrawing from Mardi Gras was a huge blow to LGBT staff for example.

Generally the company does a good job.

My team in particular is incredibly diverse in terms of gender (M/F) however I feel there could be more ethnic representation as there are very few people, especially in the management levels above me, that are non-WASPs

Strong focus on gender, minority and gender equality. unsure re child care and maternity but strong coverage in recruitment to ensure a diverse mix of hired candidates

As a member of the LGBT community, ANZ has its Pride Community that runs alot of events and creates awareness for issues that we face. I joined ANZ because of their commitment to diversity, and am proud to work for ANZ for this reason.

I think ANZ do really well when it comes to diversity, however with all companies there is a lot further to go to achieve gender balance in leadership positions, and more representation among minorities or the LGBTQI+ community.

I find ANZ to be very diverse.

Previous rotation was quite diverse gender-wise. My current area has seen multiple women leave due to lack of career progression opportunities, it's very white/male and that is the clique.

Whilst there are certain individuals who don't adhere to the values of diversity with respect to those listed above, the overall culture is extremely accommodating and encouraging of a diverse background.
