Parental leave seems to be a very strong and respected cultural norm in the firm.

I find that ABL is very supportive of family responsibilities and everyone is understanding of your personal circumstances. ABL makes conscious effort to improve diversity, and strongly supports and celebrates lawyers from different ethnic backgrounds and the LGBT community.

ABL has a commitment to ensuring women are fairly represented in the team. 33% of partners at ABL are women - in comparison to other law firms this is a high figure and one that continues to rise. ABL shows strong support for the indigenous community and for ethnic minorities.

Diversity is real at our firm. It's not just a catch-word. We have one of the most diverse teams in the city. The partnership actively promotes women and men equally.

I believe that the technical assessment aspect of the interview process in a way helps people from less privileged backgrounds. In other interviews I have done in the past, I felt that it may be difficult for interviewees from less privileged backgrounds to pass onto the next stage if they didn't have much in common with the interviewer because of socio-economic status. However, adding a technical element means that people from less privileged backgrounds can show their ability.

Unsure from a recruitment perspective. The Firm, from my understanding, does a lot of pro bono and public interest work for the First Peoples

I think in Law it is difficult to do this, especially given the competition for positions.
