The Resources and Manufacturing team provides clients with access to the raw materials that drive future growth, innovation and opportunities for the future.

From processing and manufacturing plants, mines and major materials handling facilities through to agriculture and metals, our team can deliver technically complex solutions. Aurecon delivers a range of engineering services across the entire project lifecycle, including master planning, feasibility studies, engineering design, construction management, and operations and maintenance.

Being at the forefront of resources and manufacturing success, we also know the industry is facing a profound structural shift. Our connected and interconnected lives are driving the creation of new channels to market almost daily. Automation, digitisation and robotics are fundamentally changing the process, and Aurecon has a strong commitment to leading-edge technology, innovation and operational efficiency.

Who are we?

Aurecon is a design, engineering and advisory company that brings ideas to life to create a better future for people and the planet.

We are the only Australian company on the Fortune 2021 Change the World List. In 2020, we were named Australasia’s Most Innovative Company by the Australian Financial Review (AFR), and the only engineering firm in the Top 10 Best Places to Work 2021. We recently won the Engineers Australia Most Popular Engineering and Resources Employer award at the GradConnection Top 100 awards in 2022.

Hardwired in our DNA are engineering, design and the deep need to leave a legacy. We believe humanity depends on engineering; and we recognise we have a broader stewardship role to play. As we continually strive for a life in balance, Aurecon clients will be ready for the future and engineered for life.

What makes us unconventional?

We’re living in a time of unprecedented change – much more than we’ve ever seen and anticipated before. Climate change, COVID-19, economic, social, technological changes, to name a few. To face these, we’re looking for unconventional thinkers and dedicated doers who feel deeply passionate about co-creating solutions for a sustainable, liveable future.

Like the Tiaho Mai Acute Mental Health Unit in South Auckland, co-designed with users to set the benchmark for residential mental health units in New Zealand. Or the St Marys Bay Area Water Quality Improvement Project, where Aurecon teams around the world collaborated using innovative 3D digital modelling to reduce wastewater discharge by over 90 per cent.

Join us to co-create a better future, in which people and the planet can flourish. Start your career journey with us! Together, we’ll be unstoppable. Apply today.
