Who are we?
We are the only Australian company on the Fortune 2021 Change the World List. In 2020, we were named Australasia’s Most Innovative Company by the Australian Financial Review (AFR), and the only engineering firm in the Top 10 Best Places to Work 2021. We recently won the Engineers Australia Most Popular Engineering Employer award and was named one of the top 10 employers under the Most Popular Internship Employer – Large category at the AFR’s Top 100 awards in 2023.
Hardwired in our DNA are engineering, design and the deep need to leave a legacy. We believe humanity depends on engineering; and we recognise we have a broader stewardship role to play. As we continually strive for a life in balance, Aurecon clients will be ready for the future and engineered for life.
What makes us unconventional?
We’re living in a time of unprecedented change – much more than we’ve ever seen and anticipated before. Climate change, COVID-19, economic, social, technological changes, to name a few. To face these, we’re looking for unconventional thinkers and dedicated doers who feel deeply passionate about co-creating solutions for a sustainable, liveable future.
Like the Woodside Building for Technology & Design, made using world-leading energy-efficient building design to become the largest educational building in the world to achieve Passive House certification, and featured at the COP26 UN Climate Conference in 2021.
Or the award-winning Project Gilghi – a portable, solar-powered water treatment system housed in a shipping container – that can filter 250 kilolitres of potable water per day for rural or isolated indigenous communities.
Join us to co-create a better future, in which people and the planet can flourish. Start your career journey with us! Together, we’ll be unstoppable.
