2022 Credit Analyst (Rolling Intake)

Your mission

In this role, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that all applications received from the Sales and Business Development team are properly filtered through an ever-sophisticated credit scoring system, keeping in line with CapBay’s mission to provide smart and inclusive financing to SMEs whilst maintaining investors’ trust in us.

What you’ll do

• Provide credit evaluation on credit applications and requests
• Complete credit papers and submit to Credit Committees for approval
• Support Relationship Managers on credit underwriting and closing
• Interview clients with Relationship Managers on-site visits if required
• Perform independent post-approval reviews on credit accounts
• Loan/Security documentation checking
• Compose Investment Notes to the public investors
• Prepare reports and statistics
• Attend credit-related business development meetings with external parties
• Participate in latest credit-related software development closely with IT division

What you should have

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting or related field; or
• Professional experience in Finance or Credit Analysis, qualification in CCE and BCP is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Spreadsheet; expertise in PowerQuery and PowerPivot is a plus
• Good writing skills in English
• Constantly updated to the latest financial, banking, economic news
• Basic knowledge of VBA for Excel and JavaScript scripting is a plus
