2022 Accounting & Reporting Analyst (Start ASAP)

About the role: 

We are looking for new talent to enhance our internal finance function, including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting management with the overall strategy. Ultimately, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to: 

• Be the primary point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
• Focus on day-to-day operations in the areas of accounting, filing, and financial transactions
• Organise the filing of documents, and payments for completeness in order for audit purposes
• Demonstrate a strong interest in supporting accounting activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and month-end financial reports.
• Deepen knowledge of company products and processes
• Support the Finance Manager and team with various projects and ad hoc tasks when required

Requirements: 

We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about a career in the FinTech industry and has a proven experience of 1-2 years in accounting
• Excellent analytical and planning skills
• Clearly a strong leader with fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
• A strategic thinker with strong business, and financial acumen, a drive for continuous improvement, and the ability to get things done within deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and G-Suite, as well as possess strong industry knowledge and technical aptitude
• Highly adaptable to a fast-paced environment and enjoys a steep learning curve with a hands-on approach
