LGBTQ+ at Capgemini Australia and New Zealand

Capgemini provides a safe place for graduates to bring their authentic self to work. Some of their key highlights in the past year include:

  • the creation of policies and guidelines for gender diverse employees wishing to affirm their gender in the workplace, as well as a wardrobe allowance;
  • celebrations of days of significance for LGBTQ+ communities and hosting external guest speakers in events in their ASE;
  • helping Sydney win their bid for the WorldPride festival in 2023 with a digital inclusion strategy to bring world pride to the world;
  • marching in the Sydney Mardi Gras and World Pride in New York, holding a stall at Canberra’s Spring Out festival, and presenting at the annual pride in practice conference;
  • launching Capgemini’s Ally network;
  • rainbow artwork through the office in support of colleagues;
  • holding LGBTQ+ inclusion and awareness sessions, open to all staff members and
  • reviewing everything (and amending where required) to ensure their policies were completely inclusive of LGBTQ+ employees.
