Perth Summer Clerkship (Nov 2024)

A vacation clerkship is the perfect way to learn about working at Clifford Chance and meet our people.

We recruit students that we believe have the potential and ambition to join us once their degrees are completed.

During the 4-week program, you will be given opportunity to:

• interact with team members across our global network – sit with the team and working on real, live clients projects
• be treated as part of our team and given opportunities to demonstrate your abilities; and
• visit our Sydney office to meet our colleagues (subject to any covid travel restrictions and business needs).

To ensure you get the most from your program we will assign you a mentor - an experienced lawyer who will help you settle in and answer any questions you have.

To be successful, in addition to a strong academic record, you will need to demonstrate the following qualities:

• A strong sense of business awareness and commercial insight
• Strong ability to lead and manage
• Potential to become a first-class lawyer
• Willingness to take advantage of the many opportunities that you encounter
• Ambition, drive and commitment to succeed
• Ability to articulate your ideas clearly
