Our Summer Student program operates from November each year for a total of 60 working days and empowers you to focus on your passions - from designing hardware products, developing and improving manufacturing processes, implementing test systems, or designing and testing firmware or software. The work at Cochlear is technically challenging and incredibly rewarding.
As a Summer Student in our Research and Development stream, you will be using your technical skills and abilities to solve unique challenges across various teams - including Validation and Verification, Advanced Innovation, as well as Electrical, Mechanical, and Systems engineering. Your projects will meaningfully contribute to Cochlear’s product development and research and provide you with an unparalleled experience at the forefront of our innovation. You will have the opportunity to work alongside and collaborate with the best and brightest minds in Australia and across the world as they mentor and support you to develop your skills and follow your passions.
At the conclusion of the Summer Student program, you will be eligible for exclusive graduate positions starting in February 2024 at Cochlear. Your performance during the Summer Student Program will contribute toward your suitability for a graduate role.
