Your role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise New Zealand is born from an ethos of innovation and collaboration and is looking for engaging graduates for their Sales Technical Graduate Program and seeking enthusiastic people, who are interested in the business of IT and are keen on making an impact in technology in Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington.

The Technical Pre-sales Graduate Program launches you into IT and aims to provide you with the opportunity to explore areas of interest you don’t even know exist yet by exposing you to different strategies and next-generation thinking.

The Program consists of Two x 6-month rotations in different areas of specialization before landing a confirmed placement in the 2nd year of the program.

About you

If you:

  • Have completed and graduated within the last 1 year (Bachelor’s degree) - or will be completing your degree soon. Minimum Credit average. If you have completed your Master’s degree, there must be no more than a 1-year gap between your Bachelors's and Masters's Degrees.  All disciplines considered, with a preference for IT, Computer Science, Data Science, and Engineering with Computer Science.
  • Have a broad knowledge and passion for the IT industry
  • Are a well-rounded candidate with the interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence, and partner with others under time constraints to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
  • Are you a New Zealand Citizen at the time of application

To be successful in this role, you should bring passion or exposure to any of the below:

  • Data and Analytics
  • Artificial Intelligence with curiosity about helping solve business problems in the areas of cognitive automation, cognitive insight, and cognitive engagement.
  • Emerging business use cases for virtual reality and augmented reality
  • Software programming (completion of Microsoft and/or VMware certifications at University highly regarded)
  • Storage and data management
  • Networking (completion of Cisco certifications at University highly regarded)
  • The emergence of Open Source
  • Outcomes-based solution design
