Data Ingestion Platform Lead

At Mondelez we are developing Next-Generation data ingestion and integration platform to support the company’s analytic Insights. This role will provide you with excellent opportunities to grow your skills and will also bring you into contact with a diverse array of stakeholders within Mondelēz Information Business Services (IBS) and other internal stakeholders. 

Responsibilities

• You will be challenged and will be part of a team to find innovative solutions that will deliver the right methods, standards, techniques, and capabilities to support both existing and new data ingestion technologies, driven in part by the growing number of data analytics use cases at Mondelez.
• You will monitor, and analyze the utilization and performance of the ingestion platforms, optimizing and scaling the platform to meet the ever-growing needs and complex scenarios of our ingestion framework users.
• You will collaborate with our Enterprise, Solution architects and Data ingestion engineers to assess, design and deploy new and approved ELT patterns (streaming and batch). Also, you will Define policies, standards, best practice guidelines and user guides for the usage of the platform.

Requirements

• Experience in operating and managing data ingestion platforms and associated tools
• Experience in working with a broad set of data ingestion and data pipeline patterns, and associated technologies (e.g. Talend, AecorSoft, Databricks, Data stage, Airflow and Automic, Azure data factory), basic scripting languages such as bash, PowerShell, SQL and/or Python, command-line execution and development of batch files scripting.
• Knowledge of general practices in data management/warehousing and BI/analytics space will be an asset
• Experience with designing, securely integrating and managing data ingestion solutions from a wide range of data sources SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP HANA, Relational databases, SaaS API connections, file transfer, B2B, SharePoint, batch processing and real-time streaming and Change Data Capture
• A strong understanding of infrastructure concepts including network, storage, LDAPs, SSO authentication, authorization controls and Windows/Unix/Linux systems will be an asset
• Good communication skills and ability to articulate system designs and patterns to varying stakeholders and levels of leadership with the ability to lead and coordinate complex implementations. Demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm and curiosity to learn new technologies and keep abreast of the latest trends
• Experience with Platform Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM). Driving agility and delivering greater business value through timely technology adoption (Upgrades, patching etc.) with a focus on the ability to stay current and assess status within the lifecycle of vendor-supplied third party technology (source and target systems), including Cloud providers.
• Experience building multi-cloud (on GCP, Azure, AWS) data pipelines with target objects such as Google cloud storage, Big query, Azure SQL DB, Azure SQL DW, Azure Blob storage, Azure Analysis Services, ADLS Gen2, Databricks.
• Preferred experience working in an agile product development and operations environment working with and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and versioning tools such as GitHub.
