Our exciting Graduate Program offers hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. You'll work on innovative projects, receive training and mentorship, and have the chance to network with leaders across the organisation.

The work you’ll do in Personal Banking:

  • Work on transformation initiatives contributing to our strategic growth and performance ambition.
  • Contribute to developing strategies to improve and digitise the customer experience.
  • Work on transformation initiatives contributing to our strategic growth ambition.
  • Work with product colleagues to analyse customer needs and market trends, and develop customer propositions.
  • Protect customers and colleagues by strengthening and automating controls.
  • Support the development of communication campaigns.
  • Utilise your analytical capabilities to identify and present opportunities.
  • Undertake research to develop market and competitor insights.
  • Collaborate with different teams across NAB to deliver to client needs.
  • Engage with customers and support the delivery of outstanding signature service with every interaction.

The 15-month Graduate Program commences in February 2025.

Pros

  • Amazing Culture and People. Employees are valued and recognised for the hard work that they put in. The company has a very supportive environment and has many different learning and development opportunities available."

  • Flexible working (WFH), emphasis on work-life balance. Big organisation so lots of areas to get involved in and explore.

  • Great learning opportunities - 3-4 rotations depending on your dream to get exposure to different parts of the bank. Good work-life balance.

  • Employees are recognised for the hard work and initiative that they take which gives them the opportunity to further our career development.

  • The graduate culture is amazing and everyone is very social and happy to catch up.

Cons

    • Sometimes we have to navigate lots of old tech and systems.

    • Because it’s such a large organization, it can be tricky to know the ins and outs of what each function does, but that comes with time, experience and exposure.

    • Sometimes have to work long hours.

    • There were lots of stages of the interview process

    • We don’t get any bonuses. Apparently they used to but they stopped a few years back.
