Responsibilities

  • Oversee IT Asset Management.
  • Perform daily management of hardware and software available for deployment, managing OPS requirement, equipment users, and usability.
  • Record hardware assets and/or software licenses (Asset Inventory).
  • Establish and maintain internal hardware and software maintenance database.
  • Confirm hardware assets with actual inventory, as part of the monthly checklist and initiate corrective actions and equipment tracking.
  • Scheduling maintenance for IT equipment.
  • Document and control IT internal standard processes such as Standard Desktop, Standard Laptop, Standard onboarding process (internal).
  • Maintain records of software assets, license contracts, and subscriptions to ensure non-expiry of services (similar to SSL issue) and include renewal reminders.
  • Perform service and product review to determine appropriate resource business needs and requirements. Record, evaluate, and make recommendations on trends in asset performance.
  • Assist in research on industry’s best practices and incorporate it with organizational processes.
  • Recommendation of replacement, deployment, and disposal of IT assets.
  • Record hardware and software lifecycle from introduction to retirement.
  • Assist the IT Manager in creating and executing governance and strategic asset management functions. Perform server support and Site-Specific Maintenance Checklist.
  • Conduct pro-active identification of potential problems for clients via monitoring systems and system checks.
  • Provide other IT assistance to clients as directed by the management.
  • Ensure IT compliance with ISO controls.
  • Handle and resolve all escalated issues from the L1 support team.
  • Perform ticket analysis of support data as required by the Immediate Superior.
  • Provide assistance to the IT Asset Management Officer to ensure inventory is updated.
  • Handle and manager over sensitive\confidential types of requests or support.
  • Perform account creation\deletion and for end-users’ accounts.
  • Ensure proper sanitation of computer data prior to disposal.
  • Perform specific tasks assigned by the MIS Supervisor and IT Manager.

General requirement
<ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years relative experience (at least 1yr L2 Support)</li> <li>Operational knowledge of multiple operating systems and services (Windows Desktop and Windows Server)</li> <li>Solid technical knowledge on isolation and support of end-user machines regardless of the brand Knowledge of admin and support:</li> <li>Office 365, Microsoft Office Suite and Email protocols: webmail</li> <li>Knowledge in Active Directory: file permission, resource sharing, domain and workgroup architecture and support</li> <li>Awareness of Network protocols TCP/IP Protocol, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, IIS, and VPN</li> <li>Proactive implementation of cyber-security best practices and remediation activities</li> <li>Familiarity with ITSM ticketing procedure: Incident Request, Change Request, Service Request, Root Cause Analysis</li> <li>Strong technical ability to diagnosis and resolve end-user as well as systems issues</li> <li>Service level awareness with IT services and targets.</li> <li>Understanding of support tools, remote support experience is a plus</li> <li>Experience in the preservation of IT asset and IT monitoringTrustworthy in handling IT assets / inventory are audited and checked at all times</li> </ul>
