2022 Software Enginner Intern

Pantas is a newly formed tech startup founded by 3 Malaysians with a combined work experience of over 30 years in Finance, Hedge Fund, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Software Engineering and Startup in New York City. Their track record includes the successful sale of a data analytics startup to Bain & Company (US).

Pantas’s investors include VCs based in Silicon Valley, private equity and hedge fund investors based in US, Europe, Hong Kong and Singapore and one of the largest conglomerates in Southeast Asia.

Pantas operates similar to a US-based startup and offers its team members a sense of ownership regardless of rank. It is a fast-paced organization with a flat management structure that focuses on enabling its team members to succeed in their careers.

You will get to:

• Work with Machine Learning experts to classify and train data models
• Assist in building the framework and foundation for running ML prediction on the cloud
• Setup standalone automated testing of the invoicing platform

The experience and qualifications we hope you bring to the position:

• Has obtained or is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in any related discipline
• Has experienced using Python for Machine Learning
• Familiarity with fundamentals of mathematical statistics and calculus
• Hosting and managing websites in the cloud using AWS
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Impeccable communication capabilities across multiple mediums and disciplines

We would love to see:

• Previous internship experience is a plus
• External courses or certifications in programming
• Previous leadership roles
• Participation in co-curricular activities or volunteering
