  • Participate in the interactive career and professional development workshops
  • Apply for industry-based learning credit toward your degree

About the Opportunity: What's Involved?

During your time with Rail Projects Victoria, you will be working to support all of our projects or will be allocated to a specific project team. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of our projects, including planning, design, risk mitigation, system safety, cost control, delivery and commissioning. About You

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in kickstarting their career in electrical or mechatronics engineering. It would be preferred if you have strong written and verbal communication skills, display strong attention to detail and are someone who enjoys building positive working relationships. If you consider yourself to have a can-do attitude and are good at managing yourself in ambiguous situations, this could be the role for you!

To be eligible you must be currently studying for an undergraduate degree and remain enrolled during the course of the IBL Program. You also must hold Working Rights in Australia that allow you to work full-time (38hrs/wk).

To comply with the Victorian Government's Roadmap and CHO Directions, it is required that successful candidates submit a valid record of immunisation that identifies that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have a medical exception signed by a duly authorised medical practitioner. I love the variety of this role; the combination of stakeholder engagement and project management tasks means that I am contributing to the project in different ways even in the same day.
