The Opportunity

We are looking for our next  ER/IR team member super star, on this entry level role, you'll take ownership of crucial tasks within a business-critical compliance project that directly supports the launch of our new HRIS in 2025. Your expertise in interpreting and applying awards, agreements, and employment legislation will be essential in ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining full compliance. You'll work hands-on to streamline HR and payroll processes, ensuring they align seamlessly with the new system and industry best practices. This is a contract position of up to 12 months with hybrid working options.

What You’ll Do 

  • Collaborate with the ER/IR Compliance Manager to deliver a critical compliance project.
  • Analyse and interpret Ramsay Enterprise Agreements, modern awards, employment contracts, and payroll processes to strengthen governance.
  • Work across teams (Payroll, IT, HR, Operations) to develop, document, automate, and implement compliant strategies and procedures.
  • Design and deliver training that equips our People teams and managers with essential IR knowledge.
  • Connect the dots between legal language and practical application, ensuring seamless compliance in our new HRIS and payroll systems.

What You’ll Bring 

  • Proficient in interpreting Awards, enterprise agreements, and employment legislation, with an understanding of how they impact Payroll and HR processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of governance frameworks within an IR context.
  • Proven track record of successfully contributing to project delivery, showcasing strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, demonstrating comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to find solutions.
  • A genuine interest in systems and data, with the ability to work with and interpret data to support decision-making.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
