WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

About the Role 

Internship opportunities at Rheinmetall provide a platform to launch your career in the defence industry. Interns receive hands on experience, access to mentoring, challenging real world projects, professional development and structured performance feedback with opportunities to be considered for our Graduate Program. 

As an Employer Branding Intern, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

  • Manage the HR SharePoint design and delivery projects for Rheinmetall Defence Australia (RDA) and Vehicle Systems International (VSI);
  • Support with the generation of new assets for a variety of recruitment marketing campaigns;
  • Support with the generation of new employee stories and testimonials in line with our new Employee Value Proposition (EVP) pillars;
  • Support with updates to our Employer Profiles across multiple different websites and social media platforms; and
  • Design a storyboard for a Veterans Engagement video.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

The experience and skill set best suited to this role includes: 

  • Studying media, design, marketing, communications, human resources and/or business 
  • Interest in digital marketing and video
  • Digital design software skills and experience will be an advantage 
  • Strong computer literacy and high level competency across Microsoft Office programs 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sense of urgency with strong time management and organisational skills
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and work autonomously
  • Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
  • Understanding of and affinity for employer branding and HR marketing
