The Graduate Program is targeted at accelerating your development preparing you to take part in some of the largest developments in the National Electricity Market's history.

As a TransGrid Graduate, you will be on a two year program undertaking rotations across the Strategy, Innovation and Technology business unit, with access to internal and external development opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills. Rotations will vary depending on your background and career aspirations and will help you create an invaluable network that helps you learn, grow, and develop – from visionary and future leading Corporate Strategy to commercial and new ways of thinking in Innovation and Technology.

We are looking for agile and driven individuals who enjoy problem solving, are goal oriented and full of bright ideas. We are seeking candidates who are in their final year of university studies or who have recently graduated that can start working from February 2021.

As a TransGrid graduate you will:

  • Work alongside bright and incredibly curious teams that are transforming the Energy Industry

  • Develop professional skills that will help get your career off to a flying start
  • Undertake four six month rotations in Strategy, Innovation and Technology
  • Access internal and external development opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills

To be considered for the graduate program you will be:

  • An Australian permanent resident or an Australian or New Zealand citizen
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Law
  • Have a credit average (65%) or higher
  • Able to think laterally and 'outside the box' with plenty of bright ideas
  • Able to work collaboratively across many business functions
  • A clear communicator
  • Agile, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Able to work autonomously, with the desire to grow your career and learn from others and independently
  • Environmentally and socially responsible
  • Appreciative and sensitive of difference and diversity

Note: These positions are 2 year fixed term roles with a potential to apply or be considered for Full-Time employment after 3rd rotation
