The Graduate Program is targeted at accelerating your development preparing you to take part in some of the largest developments in the National Electricity Market’s history.

As a graduate of our People & Culture team, you will undertake rotations in key business areas including HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations/ Industrial Relations/ Organisational Development and Remuneration & Reward with access to internal and external development opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills. These rotations will help you create an invaluable network that helps you learn, grow, and develop. 

We are looking for agile individuals who enjoy problem-solving, are goal-oriented and are committed to business excellence. You will be someone who can think laterally and is a great communicator. A team player, you will build strong working relationships with your stakeholders and teams alike. You will be someone who is in their final year of university studies or who has recently graduated that can start working from February 2023.

As a Transgrid graduate you will: 

  • Undertake four six-month rotations in HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations/ Industrial Relations, Organisational Development and Remuneration & Reward 
  • Learn from leading experts 
  • Develop professional skills that will help get your career off to a flying start 
  • Undertake rotations in key business areas 
  • Access internal and external development opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills 
  • Join our People & Culture business unit, in which you’ll build a deep understanding of different fields, kick-starting your career in your chosen field.
  • On-the-job training and supportive transition into the role
  • Challenge yourself and ensure you contribute to the business

What you can expect from us:

To be considered for the graduate program you will be:

  • Tertiary qualified in Human Resources
  • Maintain minimum credit average
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Environmentally and socially responsible
  • Appreciative and sensitive to difference and diversity
  • An Australian permanent resident or an Australian or New Zealand citizen 
  • A recent University Graduate within the last 3 years (2020 or 2021 or 2022)

Note: These positions are 2 year fixed term roles with the potential to apply or be considered for Full-Time employment after 3rd rotation
