The most rewarding part of my role would be finding operational improvements on-site / assisting the Team Leaders and Operators in my team to get to their full potential.

Jessica Boediman studied a First Major in Mathematics & Statistics (BSc) and the second major in Finance at University of Western Australia and is now a Graduate Data Science at South32.

I believe studying Petroleum Engineering with a major in Oil and Gas provides a broad understanding of the oil and gas industry.

The graduate programme is three years long and, during this time, I know I will get a well-rounded view of all the assets and the technical disciplines in this large organisation.

One of the most interesting things about being based on site is the opportunity to see how my work contributes to the operation as a whole

I looked for programs that looked interesting and would provide diverse challenges so I could get a taste for what I enjoyed and what I was good at.  This is exactly what the Swire program turned out to be!
