Culture at BOQ Group

My team is Customer Strategy and Insights, we sit under the customer section in Brand, Marketing and Customer but everyone from BMC sits together. Everyone in the Brisbane office makes sure to come into the office on Tuesday, we call it 'Together Tuesday', it's one of my workdays so I enjoy that. Every month or so there is an outside of work event like trivia which is always fun. Everyone is super lovely and friendly :)

There is a strong and welcoming culture here at the company. It is a very inclusive environment and everyone I have worked with has been very helpful and friendly. I have had multiple opportunities to socialise out of office hours as well.

Team is very friendly and social. The culture is nice. unfortunately, my team is quite spread out over different states which makes in office and after hours events a bit harder. However, monthly online mixers help with that and the meetings are quite nice.

Good culture, all team members are friendly and offer great guidance/mentorship. All went out of their way to meet me during my first week, even those much higher on the hierarchy who had little free time.

The structure of my team is reasonably straightforward and really encourages a collaborative environment, particularly for people new to the role who may have a number of questions and challenges. People in the team are friendly and enjoy the work that they have so the team is very positive.

I cannot comment on other departments, but the Financial Crimes Team itself is quite a robust team with a great team culture. We have individuals of various age groups that bring with them their own experiences from internally and externally that add value to the team overall. Definitely a great team inside and outside of the office

The overall feel of the company is very open and honest. Everyone is very approachable and willing to assist if need be.

Teams work closely together, the management understands each employees strengths and skills and utilises each team member. There is a dedicated social club which organises events for the Group. The graduates all socialise both internally and externally. The executive cares about employee wellbeing and creates a positive and relaxed work environment.

The company's culture is one to note - in and out of the office. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. We also have constant social events to get everyone involved and socialising.

BOQ tries to encourage positive engagement through social events and team lunches. Colleagues make an effort to socialise outside of work too.

In office there is a supportive culture where everyone is willing to help each other when they need assistance. Multiple teams work together to ensure the customer has the best experiences possible. Outside of work there is a social team set up that provides many opportunities to network and meet new people with fun games and competitions. There are also team breakfasts and morning teas as well as events for the graduates.

Professional yet relaxed in the office. Very relaxed during social events. We all report to our manager.

There are often differences between what is desired from an executive level and what is achievable at an operational level. This creates frustration and uncertainty within the company. After hours, there are often opportunities for social events.
