Mid to late 2024 Commencement!

Come join our award-winning graduate program, where the focus is on your individual talents and a support system to enable you to thrive.

We are really proud of our recent industry awards:

  • We’re most proud of our recognition by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers for being the NUMBER 1 outstanding graduate program over 50 based on Graduate Satisfaction (and as voted for by Grads).
  • We are the NUMBER 1 graduate employer overall and accordingly, the NUMBER 1 for management consulting (Prosple).
  • We are also very proud to be acknowledged as the number 3 most popular graduate program in the country (and NUMBER 1 in Technology Consulting), as recognised by Graduate Connect and the Australian Financial Review.

Come join us!

If you are transgender, or gender diverse, and know you will have challenges completing identity checks due to name changes, please contact us at james.schlunke@capgemini.com, and we’ll handle your application with the extra layers of support required.

What will you be doing?

In the yearlong graduate program, you’ll be shown the ropes through foundation masterclasses, then depending on your skill set you’ll be off doing project work – it could be software development if that’s your jam, or organisational change management or business analysis if that’s what your skills are aligned to.

The company has a global workforce of over 300,000 people who help our clients solve their most complex business and technology challenges. You’ll be on real projects doing real things to contribute, however, our program team will be there to support you, so you thrive.

What are some of the awesome benefits?

Well, there’s no demand to come into the office every day – so you do you! You align with your project team and flex for what the project needs of you – there’s flexibility to work from home due to the hybrid working environment, and there are benefits to pay for your home equipment set up and claim for your data and phone needs.

These are just some of the great benefits, but our Learning and Development is pretty awesome too, along with all Coursera courses available for free, and you have the freedom to choose to learn what interests you. Industry recognised certifications for your chosen area will be funded by the Company. Mental well-being is super important to us, as is work-life balance, we walk the talk here – and if needed, you and your family will also have access to a free counselling service if life gets a bit heavy and you need a professionally trained person to sound things out with.

What kind of projects are there?

At Capgemini, we help the world's leading brands use the best of new tech to transform the way they do business. As a global leader in consulting, technology services, and digital transformation, Capgemini takes emerging tech to collaborate with Clients to design solutions using cloud, digital, and platforms.

So, pretty ace projects with pretty ace clients! Our graduates typically work in roles in the areas of Software Development, DevOps, People Change Management, Business Analysis, and Program Management Office.

Let’s talk about what you will need to be considered for our Graduate Program:

To be considered, you will need to satisfy the following requirements:

  • A completed Bachelor's or Master’s degree during the last 2 years with a minimum credit plus average.
  • We generally look for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in an area of technology, predominantly Information Systems, Computer Science, Commerce, Finance, Data, and Human Resources, however, we will consider other degrees if you have a strong interest and leaning towards technology
  • Be able to commence full-time work mid to late 2024.
  • Great communication skills and an outstanding customer service ethic
  • A sense of humour, “Fun” has been a company value for 50 years!
  • And finally, individuals who care about our people, our community, and our planet and who are totally aligned to our values.

Let’s talk about what happens after you apply:

Step 1: Application assessment

We will review your profile by checking your academic results, previous work experience and any extracurricular activities you have undertaken, your motivation for joining us (which should be included in your cover letter), and what area you are interested to work in.

Step 2: Interviews

Successful applicants will be invited to attend up to two interviews, which will most likely be online, however, some may be held in one of our head offices. Don’t be surprised if one of our recruitment superstars reaches out to you for a chat - something interesting may catch our eye on your cv, and we may want to discuss it.

Step 3: Final interviews

Successful candidates from the first interview will be invited to a final round of interviews with business leaders. Selections will be made from these interviews, and we will proceed to offer and conduct pre-employment screening. You will then be all set to join our amazing graduate program!

Let’s talk about what we can offer you once you join!
