Sustainability at Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR)

We have closed some offices considering the amount of people WFH and so that would surely be more energy efficient. Hardly anyone prints anymore as well.

Lots of types of bins. Haven't noticed much else.

Cannot comment. It is not well advertised. The movement to flexible work arrangements leaves plenty of wasted energy in running a giant, empty building.

I'm unsure to what extent our department commits to sustainability. The department works on projects relating to green transition economies, and supporting the transition of careers to renewable projects. There is a big push to WFH which reduces the amount of people travelling to work by car/public transport.

I am unaware of any such commitments.
