The Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) assists employees, employers, contractors and the wider community to understand their workplace rights and responsibilities and enforces compliance with Australia's workplace laws.

The FWO has approximately 900 staff nationally based in all capital cities and regional locations. We are offering Graduate roles in Canberra but also in cities like Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide. Our Fair Work Ombudsman is Sandra Parker who is based in our Melbourne office.

Graduates commence as APS3.1 employees ($67, 345 in 2022) and advance to APS4.1 roles ($74,932 in 2022) on completion of the Graduate program.
Employees are covered by the Fair Work Ombudsman Enterprise Agreement (2019-2022).
