RISK MANAGEMENT AT IMC:

Our Risk Management team operates very closely with our trading and technology teams in order to manage the inherent risks in different trading strategies across various technologies. The Risk Management team is responsible for developing risk metrics and tools to quantify and monitor these risks.

To excel in this role you will combine your risk management expertise and analytical skills to add value, not bureaucracy to the business. We are looking for someone who can bring expertise and at the same time has a critical, proactive, and hands-on approach.

Risk Analyst at IMC:

• Assess, develop, and implement solutions to complex business processes.
• Proactively identify, evaluate, and benchmark market, credit, liquidity and operational risk and assist in implementing corrective action plans to mitigate that risk.
• Contribute to global risk projects
• Analyse and resolve operational incidents as they arise.
• Represent the Risk function internally across different teams and committees and manage local initiatives and projects.
• Actively work on the ongoing development of in-house built Risk Management tools.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering, Maths, Statistics or Physics with a minimum overall mark of at least a Distinction average, or equivalent
• From graduate up to 3 years' work experience preferably with a demonstrated interest in derivatives trading environment or products
• Experience with programming in Python and/or SQL / Hadoop is a strong advantage
• Interest in financial markets is a must, but no prior knowledge or experience required
• Excellent trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills and the ability to solve problems creatively and proactively
• The ability to prioritize, act, and perform successfully in a fast-moving and high-pressured environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
