Culture at Oliver Wyman Australia & New Zealand

8.2
8.2 rating for Culture, based on 9 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
There are many ways to get involved with different employee groups - Women of Oliver Wyman (WOW), GROW (Green at OW), OW For Society. There is a fair amount of scope for shaping the culture of where you work

Flat hierarchy, everyone is approachable - very sociable teams
Midlevel, Sydney
Very social company with regular, fun events. There is flexibility to work from home, but generally, the office is busy and lively, with everyone eating lunch together (no lunch at our desks!). Culture-wise, there is something for everyone, and a lot of effort is made to hold diverse events. The hierarchy is very flat. Partners and interns and everyone in between sit together at lunch and socialise. Teamwork is critical given the project-based nature of our work, so you find yourself making fast friends with a variety of colleagues very quickly.

Very flat hierarchy, lots of interaction with partners
Midlevel, Sydney
Company culture in-work is amazing, great team, very friendly and supporting. Out-of-work we are missing a lot of culture due to the new nature of the office. Non-hierarchical, very collaborative and easy to interact with seniors on any topic (personal or work related).

Flat hierarchy and lot of social activities but there is favoritism from partners and senior staff
Midlevel, Sydney
Culture is very flat and non-hierarchical - the kind of place where partners and interns sit down together at lunch for a casual chat. Also a very social company where there are firms events happening multiple times a week, and where everyone eats lunch together whenever they're in the office.
