5 round of interviews, 3 case interviews and 2 behavioral

Several rounds of case and fit interviews with managers and partners

One partner case interview to begin process, then a full day of case interviews and behavioral interviews - final selection on the day itself

2 rounds, first round was a case and fit, second round had 2 case and one fit

Interview process included: 1x One-way video interview, then 4x 1 hour interviews with senior members of the firm (which all occurred over the span of a week)

Largely typical case interviews with more of a focus on mathematical reasoning

Standard case interview prep

Be able to answer all the 'generic' fit interview questions. For the cases, practice with friends / family. Focus on thinking logically and in a structured way, and being able to communicate that to the interviewer.

Practice cases with a friend who is also going through the process; speaking out loud and learning to manage time are valuable skills you won't get from reading or listening to cases

Practice a lot of various case interviews, brush up on hypothesis creation and storyboarding. Be confident with steps & processes, while also be ready for curveballs which throw you off guard.

Read up on the industries Oliver Wyman specialises in, the firm's culture and values, and then speak to as many people as possible at the firm to see if it's the right fit for you. Also recommend speaking to people at other consulting firms so you have something to compare to!
