Working Hours at REA Group

8.8
8.8 rating for Working Hours, based on 16 reviews
How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Flexible depending on team. Most can shift work forwards or backwards or duck out for appointments, etc, with no issues. There is no pressure on you when you take sick days, etc.

Work hours honestly feel completely up to me. Because of COVID, I think there as a huge shift in expectations for when to work. If I have something else to do in the morning external to work, I can just make up that time in the evening if I wish whilst working from home. We also have Summer Fridays, which alleviates a lot of the pressure to work long hours - we are encouraged to finish at 12PM on Fridays throughout summer as I fill out this survey.

It's the team that your in that ultimately has the most say in working arrangements, though the company's wishes do naturally flow down to middle-management. Prior to covid, the company was not particularly flexible on work, with formal arrangements required to work remotely. Though specific teams did allow for more leniency than the company as a whole. Covid has completely changed that dynamic, and hybrid working approaches are placed to be the norm going forward.

38h/week. Very flexible as long as you achieve your goals.

Generally the pressure to work longer hours is basically self-imposed. REA has a good work life balance.

REA Group is super flexible. Especially with everything going on at the moment. If you'd like to work 8-4 so you've got more time in the afternoon, or start a bit later, no stress. Need to take an hour out of your day for an appointment, totally fine, just make the hour back later.

Overtime is not expected at all. Work/life balance is very important.

Pretty flexible, it is okay to miss time during the day if you need to go to the Doctors or run an quick errand, and you typically do not work past 5-5:30

With lockdowns I spend no hours in the office, but at home or in the office it is a strict 9-5
