Recruitment Process

Applying to new opportunities is a tough gig - and we want to make it as simple as possible for you! 

When you apply, please include a copy of your CV. There's no need to include a cover letter detailing why you're excited about Safewill - we'll leave this for the interview stage!

Once you've been selected to interview, there will be 3 stages to pass through:

  1. Screening with P&C
  2. Behavioural with the hiring manager
  3. Technical challenge with the hiring manager & member of the team

Provided there's nothing else to cover, we'll be able to provide you with a decision within 24 hours of the final interview occurring! We're committed to providing you with feedback throughout each stage, and set you up for success for future interviews. 

Seasonal Program

If you are part of a Seasonal Program, a slightly different process will occur. Our Seasonal Programs offer flexible schedules, ideal for individuals who are able to work on an on-call basis. There will likely be extended periods of inactivity, followed by periods of time where 3-4 days of work per week are required.

There is the ability for most work to occur during completely flexible hours, including weekend work or before and after normal business hours, depending on your preference and existing schedule.

If you're interested in being part of the Seasonal Program, you can expect the following process to occur: 

  1. Apply to the opportunity as normal
  2. If selected, you will be invited to attend a group interview on-site at the Safewill Head Office, with dates listed at the bottom of the job advert. 
  3. If you pass the group interview stage, you will be invited to have a day of training on-site (you'll be paid for your time) and then we'll provide the working roster over the coming weeks.
  4. In periods of peak workload, we will reach back out to you to see if you're available for a few hours a week. 

We're committed to enriching your studies with real-world experience. As we grow, permanent opportunities will become available, and our first priority will be to offer candidates who have successfully completed placements with us.
