John Holland is committed to transforming the lives of all those who work in their organisation.

John Holland is committed to transforming the lives of all those who work in their organisation. They seek to create an inclusive and diverse workplace so that they can attract the best employees, regardless of what their background is. John Holland has six diversity streams, including gender, indigenous, disability, LGBTI, culture and age.

We have an established Indigenous Inclusion Network within the business, and partner with organisations such as CareerTrackers, and the Clontarf Foundation.

We empower our projects to use local and Indigenous suppliers. In 2020, we spent upwards of $50 million with almost 60 Indigenous suppliers across 89 of our projects.

We are also committed to supporting young Indigenous Australians who have interacted with the Youth Justice system obtain valuable work experience on our sites through our ON TRACK initiative. Our ON TRACK participants learn valuable work and life skills and are given an opportunity to build their networks and connections within construction, opening up a solid path to a long career in our industry.

We seek to be industry leaders by influencing our partners, subcontractors and suppliers to make their own significant social inclusion commitments.
