Always looking for innovative ways to construct projects which have sustainability and the environment at the forefront

On every John Holland project aim is to be and achieve the sustainability target that is set for the project

Following ISCA ratings on projects.

The project WILL NOT disturbed any area not within project boundaries, actively search for areas of scope to be reduced to reduce footprint, while maintaining the project core purpose and deliverables.

Always keep this area bright.

I've rarely seen a printed document in the office and we strive to use and test the latest green technology on our projects. We recently had an exciting project which was testing battery-powered machinery on-site in order to drastically reduce diesel consumption.

In my project, there are visible efforts in the environmental footprint but since this is the construction industry, it is a bit more difficult to navigate

Sustainability is a major focus on each of John Hollands projects.

Discussion but unsure of implementation.

They are slow, but they are improving. The employees are reluctant to change but the initiatives are there

All projects now have to meet the sustainability targets (ISCA)

There is work done to take care of the environment on projects, with environmental graduates being hired to assist in this.

Recycle as much as possible.

Good general requirements across the company. Works with clients to improve environmental outcomes.
