Gender Equality at TAL Australia

We believe pay and gender equity are hallmarks of a high performing organisation and we are committed to playing a leadership role in this regard.

TAL actively champions gender equality as a key part of our business strategy and Brett Clark is a CEO Pay Equity Ambassador for the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA). TAL is recognised as a leader in workplace gender equality, holding WGEA Employer of Choice for Women accreditation since 2013.

We continue to commit to:

  • Recruitment practices that focus on appointing the best person for each role, regardless of gender, with an emphasis on ensuring gender equity on shortlists,
  • Maintaining our progress in closing the gender pay gap, rewarding everyone equally according to the work they do regardless of gender. We review this at least twice annually in line with our performance processes and are proud to have closed the gender pay gap and maintain this to within 1% tolerance
  • Flexibility and support for all TAL people through initiatives such as flexible work options to suit every life stage. For parents, we pay superannuation whilst on parental leave as well as guaranteed flexibility when people who take parental leave return to work.
