About the role

The Distribution Associate will take charge of collaborating with different teams to ensure the smooth flow of the onboarding and distribution process to certify the satisfaction of partners and customers better.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Heads in administering clear communication with ZEN’s hotel partners during onboarding and sustaining excellent relationships with distribution channel partners
  • Champions in exchanging information with other functional teams to ensure deliverables are on track
  • Enhances onboarding & distribution processes to minimize sign-to-live timing
  • Resolves diligently onboarding issues as they arise

What profile are we looking for?

Academic and Work Experience

  • Excellent academic performance/ credentials
  • Must have at least 2 years experience in managing inventory on Online Travel Agencies (e.g. Booking, Expedia, Agoda, & Traveloka) and on hotel systems (e.g. channel managers and PMS)

Mindset and Attitude

  • Detail-oriented and meticulous when writing and reviewing varying information posted on OTAs and Zen Rooms
  • Ready to experience the pace and fast growth of an eCommerce startup
  • Competent to take on the responsibility with minimal supervision
  • Up to the challenge of working under pressure
  • Analytical and has a problem-solving attitude

  • Remote working, Creative and innovative environment, work independently, Fast paced, Great to learn new things

  • Giving me save space to learn, make mistakes, and be proactive also gives me so many perspectives about seeing works from humanistic view

Cons

    • - You need to adapt fast - Sometimes the higher management changes are not communicated first so you must stay updated - Cross-functional troubleshooting mostly must come from your own initiatives, if you need support you have to ask. There's still not yet an official ground protocol for this

    • The brand culture is not really exposed

    • Sometimes when it comes to deciding something need to follow the process (basically a bit long process), It will be hard for an employee to get along and initiate communication if she/he does not familiar with working in the multicultural workplace
